Guitar String Day

My new guitar strings came in the mail! My high e string (the thinnest one) broke on Christmas Day, so I’ve been stuck playing one string tabs that don’t require that string.

Once I had restrung my guitar, I thought the old strings were too pretty to just throw away. I ended up braiding them into the beginnings of a choker.

The beginnings of a choker.

The metal beads are actually part of the guitar string. They keep the bottom of the string held down.

I need to find a better way to finish the ends.

Once my guitar was restrung and tuned, I practiced a couple beginner chords.

Tomorrow. I’ll have my first horse lesson in months. I am so excited!
